The hut is situated to the north of Ukonhattu Fell along a marked trail.
At winter time there is a skiing trail to the hut from Kiimaselkä direction.
A stove, a gas cooker, a campfire site and a campfire shelter. In the yard there is a woodshed and outdoor toilet.
Pets are permitted in the hut, but only in case that other visitors agree with it. Make sure you pack a first-aid kit.
Hikers are asked to bring their own waste out of the area.
