Beautiful spot for tenting overnight. It’s a public swimming spot, so only suitable if you arrive late-ish and leave early. Can be windy, but the rocks and bushes gives some protection. Industrial harbour opposite with some noise, but it stops in the night. In addition to the spot on the photo there is one more area right beside it and one 20m up the road under some trees. Nice lawn and easy to pitch. Festival toilet by the harbour 50-100m away.
All still true as of 08/2026. However mind the industrial complex - it is a refinery and it has huge fires. If the wind is in the wrong direction, you're basically sleeping in a giant exhaust pipe.
The spot is also relatively close to settlements - we did not have any trouble though.
