At the extended square there is a shelter hut made of tree trunks, the Kreuzsteinhütte, built a few years ago by the Fichtelgebirgsverein Speichersdorf; The hut and the site are maintained by the youth group. Am erweiterten Platz steht eine Unterstellhütte aus Baumstämmen, die Kreuzsteinhütte , vor ein paar Jahren vom Fichtelgebirgsverein Speichersdorf errichtet; Hütte und Platz werden von der Jugendgruppe gepflegt.
