The hill can be climbed from the "back." There is a small footpath along the road between the trees and the field, which makes it very easy to reach the hut. However, it can get very windy in the hut.

The shelter is on a steep hill. If you’re arriving by bike I would recommend tenting on the ground by the old abandoned furnaces where allemansrätten (the right to public access) is applied.
