Allemansrätten (right to roam) generally allows pitching for a night or two on uncultivated land, away from homes and out of sight of dwellings.
Informational only — always check current local rules and get landowner permission where needed.
Around the lake Gyllebo sjö there are many picnic spots where one can easy camp for one night. The water is perfect to refresh oneself after a day of hiking.
Camping is allowed for 24 h.
Cars up to 2.10 can park next to the lake and the tent. Camper vans are not allowed. But you could probably park next to the official bathing site.
It’s supposed to be a fishing lake as well and with apps like iFiske one could get a day license.

A major milestone: we've rebuilt Camp Wild from the ground up.
The whole site is now faster, lighter on mobile data, and works smoothly even on a weak signal out in the wild.
- The map loads thousands of spots without slowing down.
- Pages open instantly and use far less data.
- Every spot now has its own link, so sharing a place is easy.
- Map markers no longer duplicate or get stuck while panning and zooming.
- Coordinates read from a photo are now accurate, with a clear message when a photo has no location data.
- Sign-in, comments, and reports are more reliable.
We're continuing to polish the new experience. Spotted something off? Use the Report button on any spot — thank you for helping keep the map accurate.
According to the official "Gyllebo" page of the municipality it is restricted to camp more than a day.
