Wild camping here: Generally allowed

Allemansrätten (right to roam) generally allows pitching for a night or two on uncultivated land, away from homes and out of sight of dwellings.

Description

2 shelters, one with a fireplace and several tables and benches under an attached roof. Located next to a pavilion with tables and chairs that is used by the village community (Munkelbols gårdsförening) for events and celebrations. During the summer weekly public events are arranged here on Tuesdays but after that and all other nights the shelters are available for overnight stays.
Popular place for tourists travelling along river Klarälven on timber rafts och in canoes.

A major milestone: we've rebuilt Camp Wild from the ground up.

The whole site is now faster, lighter on mobile data, and works smoothly even on a weak signal out in the wild.
- The map loads thousands of spots without slowing down.
- Pages open instantly and use far less data.
- Every spot now has its own link, so sharing a place is easy.

Improvements

- Map markers no longer duplicate or get stuck while panning and zooming.
- Coordinates read from a photo are now accurate, with a clear message when a photo has no location data.
- Sign-in, comments, and reports are more reliable.
