Mount LeConte Lodge sits at 6,600' (2,011m) and provides overnight lodging in several guest cabins, meals in a central dining hall, and sells snacks and lunches for day visitors. The nearby AT shelter accommodates 10 people and is easy to reserve a spot in for a $4 fee, though not quite the posh experience of staying at the lodge.
Reachable only by foot, any trail to LeConte will gain from 2,700 ft to nearly 4,000' in elevation, offering stunning views of the park along the way.

A major milestone: we've rebuilt Camp Wild from the ground up.
The whole site is now faster, lighter on mobile data, and works smoothly even on a weak signal out in the wild.
- The map loads thousands of spots without slowing down.
- Pages open instantly and use far less data.
- Every spot now has its own link, so sharing a place is easy.
- Map markers no longer duplicate or get stuck while panning and zooming.
- Coordinates read from a photo are now accurate, with a clear message when a photo has no location data.
- Sign-in, comments, and reports are more reliable.
We're continuing to polish the new experience. Spotted something off? Use the Report button on any spot — thank you for helping keep the map accurate.
