Allemansrätten (right to roam) generally allows pitching for a night or two on uncultivated land, away from homes and out of sight of dwellings.
Informational only — always check current local rules and get landowner permission where needed.
What a great wind shelter! The toilet house alone is unique. Lovingly furnished with a modern composting toilet, mirrors, books, first aid and even... electric light!
There are two firepits, firewood and many benches. Only a few steps away you have a great view over the lake Örsjö. A narrow path through blueberry bushes leads to a small bay. Under a wooden bridge the water from the lake runs off in a stream and is a great source of water.
Update 09/2023: the elektric installation was removed (LED-Stripe and switch still installed but cabel were cutted outside and inside)
and I didn't found any sign for drinking water you can use the water from the lake but there is no water connection

A major milestone: we've rebuilt Camp Wild from the ground up.
The whole site is now faster, lighter on mobile data, and works smoothly even on a weak signal out in the wild.
- The map loads thousands of spots without slowing down.
- Pages open instantly and use far less data.
- Every spot now has its own link, so sharing a place is easy.
- Map markers no longer duplicate or get stuck while panning and zooming.
- Coordinates read from a photo are now accurate, with a clear message when a photo has no location data.
- Sign-in, comments, and reports are more reliable.
We're continuing to polish the new experience. Spotted something off? Use the Report button on any spot — thank you for helping keep the map accurate.
