Allemansrätten (right to roam) generally allows pitching for a night or two on uncultivated land, away from homes and out of sight of dwellings.
Informational only — always check current local rules and get landowner permission where needed.
Very small shelter with beautiful view. Suitable for 2-3 persons. Very exposed to strong wind and the roof is not in the best condition.
The fireplace is not placed next to the shelter (safety reasons, i guess, due to strong wind).
Probably accessible by road from spring to autumn, but not wintertime because of ski slope crossing the road.
Great trails for hiking, skiing and mountainbiking in the whole area.
Restaurant, small store, toilet, drinking water etc nearby.

A major milestone: we've rebuilt Camp Wild from the ground up.
The whole site is now faster, lighter on mobile data, and works smoothly even on a weak signal out in the wild.
- The map loads thousands of spots without slowing down.
- Pages open instantly and use far less data.
- Every spot now has its own link, so sharing a place is easy.
- Map markers no longer duplicate or get stuck while panning and zooming.
- Coordinates read from a photo are now accurate, with a clear message when a photo has no location data.
- Sign-in, comments, and reports are more reliable.
We're continuing to polish the new experience. Spotted something off? Use the Report button on any spot — thank you for helping keep the map accurate.
