Wild camping here: Generally allowed

Allemansrätten (right to roam) generally allows pitching for a night or two on uncultivated land, away from homes and out of sight of dwellings.

Description

Lean-to with benches and fireplace

Note: this is a nature reserve so it is not allowed to snap off branches for firewood. Firewood is instead provided at the crossroads of the trail you are passing on your way out (see map in the pictures). Even a dry toilet can be found in the centre oof the island.

A major milestone: we've rebuilt Camp Wild from the ground up.

The whole site is now faster, lighter on mobile data, and works smoothly even on a weak signal out in the wild.
- The map loads thousands of spots without slowing down.
- Pages open instantly and use far less data.
- Every spot now has its own link, so sharing a place is easy.
