Allemansrätten (right to roam) generally allows pitching for a night or two on uncultivated land, away from homes and out of sight of dwellings.
Informational only — always check current local rules and get landowner permission where needed.
An old but fine cabin (from 1879) along an old trail (Kallbergsvägen) between the valley and the summer pastures on the hills, at Kallberget. Nowadays the trail is used as a snowmobile track while the hiking trail passes a little further south. According to a description in the cabin commonly built and owned by the local farmers at the Kallberget summer pasture.
700 metres walk from the parking at Kallbergsvägens vindskydd. 6 beds but plenty of space on the floor for more persons. Table and chairs for 7 persons, benches for 6 persons.

A major milestone: we've rebuilt Camp Wild from the ground up.
The whole site is now faster, lighter on mobile data, and works smoothly even on a weak signal out in the wild.
- The map loads thousands of spots without slowing down.
- Pages open instantly and use far less data.
- Every spot now has its own link, so sharing a place is easy.
- Map markers no longer duplicate or get stuck while panning and zooming.
- Coordinates read from a photo are now accurate, with a clear message when a photo has no location data.
- Sign-in, comments, and reports are more reliable.
We're continuing to polish the new experience. Spotted something off? Use the Report button on any spot — thank you for helping keep the map accurate.
