Wild camping here: Generally allowed

Allemansrätten (right to roam) generally allows pitching for a night or two on uncultivated land, away from homes and out of sight of dwellings.

Description

Tiny rest-shelter with wood-stove, not suitable nor meant for overnight stay except in case of emergency. Run by the county administration board (länsstyrelsen). Very rocky terrain, few spots for tents. Wood-stove damaged and no firewood 2021.

The whole site is now faster, lighter on mobile data, and works smoothly even on a weak signal out in the wild.
- The map loads thousands of spots without slowing down.
- Pages open instantly and use far less data.
- Every spot now has its own link, so sharing a place is easy.

Improvements

- Map markers no longer duplicate or get stuck while panning and zooming.
- Coordinates read from a photo are now accurate, with a clear message when a photo has no location data.
