Wild camping here: Generally allowed

Allemansrätten (right to roam) generally allows pitching for a night or two on uncultivated land, away from homes and out of sight of dwellings.

Description

Weather shelter/ lean-to along the multipurpose tarmac track (rollerski, running, cycling) and the "Rädsjön runt" hiking trail around the lake.
Table with benches for 4 - 6 persons seated. Simple benches around the fireplace, space for 8 - 12 persons seated.
Plenty of firewood in the shelter but space for 2 - 3 persons sleeping on the ground.
Managed either by Orsa Grönklitt or the local fishing club (put and take fishing in the lake).

A major milestone: we've rebuilt Camp Wild from the ground up.

The whole site is now faster, lighter on mobile data, and works smoothly even on a weak signal out in the wild.
- The map loads thousands of spots without slowing down.
- Pages open instantly and use far less data.
- Every spot now has its own link, so sharing a place is easy.

Improvements

- Map markers no longer duplicate or get stuck while panning and zooming.
- Coordinates read from a photo are now accurate, with a clear message when a photo has no location data.
- Sign-in, comments, and reports are more reliable.
