Wild camping is generally not permitted; use designated sites. A single-night bivouac may be tolerated in some areas, but rules vary by Land and nature-protection status.
Informational only — always check current local rules and get landowner permission where needed.
This trekking place is kindly provided by the company Kracht Kartoffel GmbH & Co. KG on one of their areas, next to a grain field.

This trekking site is located directly on the nature park trail in Aukrug. The course is located on an agricultural area and is staked. 2-3 tents can be accommodated at the same time, registration is not required.
Directly on the hiking trail there is a bank to rest, as well as a trash can.
To get to the signposted trekking site, you go up a slope. A rope was attached to two trees as a climbing aid. Once you have made the “ascent”, you are right on the trekking site.

A major milestone: we've rebuilt Camp Wild from the ground up.
The whole site is now faster, lighter on mobile data, and works smoothly even on a weak signal out in the wild.
- The map loads thousands of spots without slowing down.
- Pages open instantly and use far less data.
- Every spot now has its own link, so sharing a place is easy.
- Map markers no longer duplicate or get stuck while panning and zooming.
- Coordinates read from a photo are now accurate, with a clear message when a photo has no location data.
- Sign-in, comments, and reports are more reliable.
We're continuing to polish the new experience. Spotted something off? Use the Report button on any spot — thank you for helping keep the map accurate.
