Allemansrätten (right to roam) generally allows pitching for a night or two on uncultivated land, away from homes and out of sight of dwellings.
Informational only — always check current local rules and get landowner permission where needed.
Nice location but is quite close to town and therefore quite a lot of people in motion.
Along the way: Yes, also Bohusleden Vildmarksleden
Nearest parking: at Härlanda tjärns badplats, about 1.4 km walk (altitude difference 35m) from the wind shelter. Parking.
Location: The direction of the protection gives a great view, however, the direction also means that the wind sometimes blows right into the protection. Which in turn means that sound from Gbg is heard quite well despite the distance.
In the immediate area: At the northern shore of the Blackjärn, 1km from the windshield, there is a bathing area with pebble beach, benches, trash cans and lifebuoy. There is also an outdoor gym next to the bathing area.

A major milestone: we've rebuilt Camp Wild from the ground up.
The whole site is now faster, lighter on mobile data, and works smoothly even on a weak signal out in the wild.
- The map loads thousands of spots without slowing down.
- Pages open instantly and use far less data.
- Every spot now has its own link, so sharing a place is easy.
- Map markers no longer duplicate or get stuck while panning and zooming.
- Coordinates read from a photo are now accurate, with a clear message when a photo has no location data.
- Sign-in, comments, and reports are more reliable.
We're continuing to polish the new experience. Spotted something off? Use the Report button on any spot — thank you for helping keep the map accurate.
