Wild camping is generally not permitted; use designated sites. A single-night bivouac may be tolerated in some areas, but rules vary by Land and nature-protection status.
Informational only — always check current local rules and get landowner permission where needed.
The trekking area is provided by the Danish Scouts from Husby (Angelbo Trop) and is located behind the playground in Markerup.
The course is located on a pond around which a small footpath leads. The site has a shelter as covered overnight accommodation. This place is also usable without a tent.
Toilets are not available. There is a fireplace with seating that can be used under supervision. Please bring your own firewood. In the name of nature, we ask you to leave the dead wood in the woods.

A major milestone: we've rebuilt Camp Wild from the ground up.
The whole site is now faster, lighter on mobile data, and works smoothly even on a weak signal out in the wild.
- The map loads thousands of spots without slowing down.
- Pages open instantly and use far less data.
- Every spot now has its own link, so sharing a place is easy.
- Map markers no longer duplicate or get stuck while panning and zooming.
- Coordinates read from a photo are now accurate, with a clear message when a photo has no location data.
- Sign-in, comments, and reports are more reliable.
We're continuing to polish the new experience. Spotted something off? Use the Report button on any spot — thank you for helping keep the map accurate.
