Description

The largest RMK recreation site in Estonia, located on the west bank of the Kauksi stream. With its golden sand and light pine forest, Kauksi campsite is among the most highly valued campsites among our visitors.

50 campfire sites, 20 picnic shelters, 3 water wells, 4 dry toilets, observation platform, 3 information boards
The maximum number of tents (for 4) allowed is 150
The largest sand dune of the shore of Lake Peipus

Camping is free of charge; single entry ticket for a motorized vehicle is 4.00 €.
Firewood on sale seasonally at the information point near the campsite entry.

A major milestone: we've rebuilt Camp Wild from the ground up.

The whole site is now faster, lighter on mobile data, and works smoothly even on a weak signal out in the wild.
- The map loads thousands of spots without slowing down.
- Pages open instantly and use far less data.
- Every spot now has its own link, so sharing a place is easy.

Improvements

- Map markers no longer duplicate or get stuck while panning and zooming.
- Coordinates read from a photo are now accurate, with a clear message when a photo has no location data.
- Sign-in, comments, and reports are more reliable.
