Wild-camping rules vary by area and aren't confirmed for this country — always check local regulations and get landowner permission where needed.

It is small and holds up to 6 people.
You can get to the Agols Hut (2,230 metres alt. and 600-metre climb) by car along the road from els Cortals of Encamp to la Borda de les Pardines, 1,640 metres alt., shortly after Km. 3 of the CS-220, to the left of some water tanks.
Here there is a large parking area and a wooden sign showing the way (yellow dots).
There is a constant climb through the forest to another sign at 1,940 metres alt. which gives us the option of going to prat de Gilet or to les Agols. Around 50 metres further up we find another sign. Here we take the path to the right, which is flatter and goes straight to the hut along the Montuell River. The hut has bunks and a fireplace. There is water alongside. The hut is not guarded and is open all year, but it is usually maintained in the summer months (cleaning, firewood, first aid kits...). The walk is of medium difficulty. There is a mobile phone signal.

A major milestone: we've rebuilt Camp Wild from the ground up.
The whole site is now faster, lighter on mobile data, and works smoothly even on a weak signal out in the wild.
- The map loads thousands of spots without slowing down.
- Pages open instantly and use far less data.
- Every spot now has its own link, so sharing a place is easy.
- Map markers no longer duplicate or get stuck while panning and zooming.
- Coordinates read from a photo are now accurate, with a clear message when a photo has no location data.
- Sign-in, comments, and reports are more reliable.
We're continuing to polish the new experience. Spotted something off? Use the Report button on any spot — thank you for helping keep the map accurate.
