Allemansrätten (right to roam) generally allows pitching for a night or two on uncultivated land, away from homes and out of sight of dwellings.
Informational only — always check current local rules and get landowner permission where needed.
In the middle of nowhere, you can hike from the turnaround at N 59° 52.206' E 015° 32.253' and park in front of the prohibition sign 500 meters south.
I recommend boots, the terrain is wet.
There is a bed, a bench that can be used as a bed and the table can be adjusted to accommodate a third person. But it is small.
There are facilities for cooking and a stove with a small wood store.
Very quiet here.

A major milestone: we've rebuilt Camp Wild from the ground up.
The whole site is now faster, lighter on mobile data, and works smoothly even on a weak signal out in the wild.
- The map loads thousands of spots without slowing down.
- Pages open instantly and use far less data.
- Every spot now has its own link, so sharing a place is easy.
- Map markers no longer duplicate or get stuck while panning and zooming.
- Coordinates read from a photo are now accurate, with a clear message when a photo has no location data.
- Sign-in, comments, and reports are more reliable.
We're continuing to polish the new experience. Spotted something off? Use the Report button on any spot — thank you for helping keep the map accurate.
