Allemansrätten (right to roam) generally allows pitching for a night or two on uncultivated land, away from homes and out of sight of dwellings.
Informational only — always check current local rules and get landowner permission where needed.
The area is refurbished and nice, located along a part of the upland trail called church path.
The church path seems to have received a lot of attention, it was in good condition.
There is a road all the way up, easy to par a car or bike.
In the charcoal kiln it was cramped and dark, if you lie under the table it might be possible to sleep there.
Outside there is a fireplace, firewood and toilet, and a cold spring with good water.
There is space to pitch a tent.

A major milestone: we've rebuilt Camp Wild from the ground up.
The whole site is now faster, lighter on mobile data, and works smoothly even on a weak signal out in the wild.
- The map loads thousands of spots without slowing down.
- Pages open instantly and use far less data.
- Every spot now has its own link, so sharing a place is easy.
- Map markers no longer duplicate or get stuck while panning and zooming.
- Coordinates read from a photo are now accurate, with a clear message when a photo has no location data.
- Sign-in, comments, and reports are more reliable.
We're continuing to polish the new experience. Spotted something off? Use the Report button on any spot — thank you for helping keep the map accurate.
