Allemansrätten (right to roam) generally allows pitching for a night or two on uncultivated land, away from homes and out of sight of dwellings.
Informational only — always check current local rules and get landowner permission where needed.
The tower is a metal structure, about 15 metres high.
At the top of the tower there is a cabin with room for 2 sleepers.
Also available are many facilities such as a heater and a kerosene lamp with kerosene.
Really a cool place to spend the night.
The steps upwards are very scary, so not for scared people.
We ourselves had coffee and a meal here, but because we couldn't lift our dog upwards, we unfortunately didn't sleep here.

A major milestone: we've rebuilt Camp Wild from the ground up.
The whole site is now faster, lighter on mobile data, and works smoothly even on a weak signal out in the wild.
- The map loads thousands of spots without slowing down.
- Pages open instantly and use far less data.
- Every spot now has its own link, so sharing a place is easy.
- Map markers no longer duplicate or get stuck while panning and zooming.
- Coordinates read from a photo are now accurate, with a clear message when a photo has no location data.
- Sign-in, comments, and reports are more reliable.
We're continuing to polish the new experience. Spotted something off? Use the Report button on any spot — thank you for helping keep the map accurate.
