Allemansrätten (right to roam) generally allows pitching for a night or two on uncultivated land, away from homes and out of sight of dwellings.
Informational only — always check current local rules and get landowner permission where needed.
Fjärdbottens fäbodvall consists of three timbered cottages with two sleeping breezes each and a larger timber building of approximately 35 square meters with long tables and benches. It features barbecue facilities, dry toilet and a 15-seat guest jetty. In total, the embankment can accommodate about 25 people under roof. Camping is also possible. The embankment is always open. No advance booking is possible. Adjacent to the embankment there are two reliable cold springs.

A major milestone: we've rebuilt Camp Wild from the ground up.
The whole site is now faster, lighter on mobile data, and works smoothly even on a weak signal out in the wild.
- The map loads thousands of spots without slowing down.
- Pages open instantly and use far less data.
- Every spot now has its own link, so sharing a place is easy.
- Map markers no longer duplicate or get stuck while panning and zooming.
- Coordinates read from a photo are now accurate, with a clear message when a photo has no location data.
- Sign-in, comments, and reports are more reliable.
We're continuing to polish the new experience. Spotted something off? Use the Report button on any spot — thank you for helping keep the map accurate.
