Allemansrätten (right to roam) generally allows pitching for a night or two on uncultivated land, away from homes and out of sight of dwellings.
Informational only — always check current local rules and get landowner permission where needed.
On an island in the lake Kläggen
No split wood but many windfalls partly cut into cubes, saw and axe missing
One locked and one open toilets
Benches/Tables (places): logs around the fireplace (9-12), table with benches (6).
Lying area (Number of persons sleeping in shelter): 2,5x2m (4)
Trash cans were available but I don't know how it works with emptying out there.
It is supposed to be the village team that looks after the island,
I was told by acquaintances.
Connection: by own boat, 900m from public bathing area.

A major milestone: we've rebuilt Camp Wild from the ground up.
The whole site is now faster, lighter on mobile data, and works smoothly even on a weak signal out in the wild.
- The map loads thousands of spots without slowing down.
- Pages open instantly and use far less data.
- Every spot now has its own link, so sharing a place is easy.
- Map markers no longer duplicate or get stuck while panning and zooming.
- Coordinates read from a photo are now accurate, with a clear message when a photo has no location data.
- Sign-in, comments, and reports are more reliable.
We're continuing to polish the new experience. Spotted something off? Use the Report button on any spot — thank you for helping keep the map accurate.
