Here, next to Snösjön, is the nature centre of Ludvika and Smedjebacken municipalities' joint upper secondary school, where for several years a specially designed ecology programme has had part of its teaching. The elongated building that is open on the sides is actually a classroom!
The area is very beautiful and there are both cultural and primeval forests.
If you come here during the day on a weekday and there are a lot of people there, it probably means that school activities are going on and you shouldn't disturb them. Please also respect that all objects on the site, including any firewood, belong to the school.
