Allemansrätten (right to roam) generally allows pitching for a night or two on uncultivated land, away from homes and out of sight of dwellings.
Informational only — always check current local rules and get landowner permission where needed.
Located by the stream between the upper and middle lake. Unfortunately, the water becomes easily stationary in the stream. Inner dimensions b*d 350*240. The roof is made of sheet metal and also covers the stove in front. Good if it rains but it's going to sound a lot from the tin roof. The stove has some rust holes. The wood and also the windshield suck a lot of moisture from the ground, so horse ants have built nests in the logs, unfortunately with some ant visits even on the inside. There's no toilet. Quite a lot of rubbish when I arrived, but clean when I left. Firewood is available. 1.6 miles to parking

A major milestone: we've rebuilt Camp Wild from the ground up.
The whole site is now faster, lighter on mobile data, and works smoothly even on a weak signal out in the wild.
- The map loads thousands of spots without slowing down.
- Pages open instantly and use far less data.
- Every spot now has its own link, so sharing a place is easy.
- Map markers no longer duplicate or get stuck while panning and zooming.
- Coordinates read from a photo are now accurate, with a clear message when a photo has no location data.
- Sign-in, comments, and reports are more reliable.
We're continuing to polish the new experience. Spotted something off? Use the Report button on any spot — thank you for helping keep the map accurate.
