Allemansrätten (right to roam) generally allows pitching for a night or two on uncultivated land, away from homes and out of sight of dwellings.

Description

DOES NOT EXIST ANYMORE. June 2025: burned down completely. Its a shame that people dont take care when making fire near the shelters. Still a nice place.

Located very nicely on a headland. A few hundred metres to go to get there. Toilet is available. Strange shelter. 260cm wide so just right for four, at least as deep and full standing height at the front. Along the whole roof there was an air gap of 10cm plus the logs were missing 1cm at the front edge. Good thing it was calm last night because this construction won't stop any wind.
I now understand that there used to be a roof that covered the entire barbecue area. After the cantilevered roof has been removed, it rains easily.

A major milestone: we've rebuilt Camp Wild from the ground up.

The whole site is now faster, lighter on mobile data, and works smoothly even on a weak signal out in the wild.
- The map loads thousands of spots without slowing down.
- Pages open instantly and use far less data.
- Every spot now has its own link, so sharing a place is easy.

Improvements

- Map markers no longer duplicate or get stuck while panning and zooming.
- Coordinates read from a photo are now accurate, with a clear message when a photo has no location data.
