Allemansrätten (right to roam) generally allows pitching for a night or two on uncultivated land, away from homes and out of sight of dwellings.
Informational only — always check current local rules and get landowner permission where needed.
A small and very worn shelter with a wooden roof/tar paper. The protruding roof is probably leaking, but the sleeping surface itself seems to be spared so far. It can accommodate 3 people and there is a barbecue area and a small pile of wood next to it. In front of the shelter there is a small stream in a deep ravine that was dried out 15/7. The anthill by the campfire is a bonus. There is no toilet.

Toalett saknas.
Ligger längs Ringsbergsleden, 200m från väg.

A major milestone: we've rebuilt Camp Wild from the ground up.
The whole site is now faster, lighter on mobile data, and works smoothly even on a weak signal out in the wild.
- The map loads thousands of spots without slowing down.
- Pages open instantly and use far less data.
- Every spot now has its own link, so sharing a place is easy.
- Map markers no longer duplicate or get stuck while panning and zooming.
- Coordinates read from a photo are now accurate, with a clear message when a photo has no location data.
- Sign-in, comments, and reports are more reliable.
We're continuing to polish the new experience. Spotted something off? Use the Report button on any spot — thank you for helping keep the map accurate.
