Allemansrätten (right to roam) generally allows pitching for a night or two on uncultivated land, away from homes and out of sight of dwellings.
Informational only — always check current local rules and get landowner permission where needed.
The place is really nice with lovely views and not much noise from the old borås road below.
The first thing you see is a small shed with an toilet and wood store, but it looks very shabby with lots of rubbish and debris.
The windbreak is waterproofed by tarpaulin and it looks dry and nice
The barbecue area is OK, but someone has put up a rather strange device for barbecue grills that in my opinion disturbs the overall impression/view, can naturally be removed.
The overall impression is pretty bad, but if you clean it up a bit it becomes a really nice place.

A major milestone: we've rebuilt Camp Wild from the ground up.
The whole site is now faster, lighter on mobile data, and works smoothly even on a weak signal out in the wild.
- The map loads thousands of spots without slowing down.
- Pages open instantly and use far less data.
- Every spot now has its own link, so sharing a place is easy.
- Map markers no longer duplicate or get stuck while panning and zooming.
- Coordinates read from a photo are now accurate, with a clear message when a photo has no location data.
- Sign-in, comments, and reports are more reliable.
We're continuing to polish the new experience. Spotted something off? Use the Report button on any spot — thank you for helping keep the map accurate.
