Allemansrätten (right to roam) generally allows pitching for a night or two on uncultivated land, away from homes and out of sight of dwellings.
Informational only — always check current local rules and get landowner permission where needed.
Windbreaks along Skåneleden. Campsite next to bird lake. Water is available (rickepump, should be boiled before consumption). Next to the Krankesjön there are two shelters with barbecue area for overnight stay and next to it there are shelters for barbecuing (picture). Well with pump, but don't know if the water is drinkable, but for dishes etc. Within a hundred yards there is a bird tower overlooking the lake and a wooden walkway to a viewing area in the lake. Toilet. Unfortunately no sea view from the shelters. Nicely constructed and in fine condition. You come down by car to unload directly next to the shelter and can park 3 minutes walk away. It is suitable for the disabled, strollers, etc.

A major milestone: we've rebuilt Camp Wild from the ground up.
The whole site is now faster, lighter on mobile data, and works smoothly even on a weak signal out in the wild.
- The map loads thousands of spots without slowing down.
- Pages open instantly and use far less data.
- Every spot now has its own link, so sharing a place is easy.
- Map markers no longer duplicate or get stuck while panning and zooming.
- Coordinates read from a photo are now accurate, with a clear message when a photo has no location data.
- Sign-in, comments, and reports are more reliable.
We're continuing to polish the new experience. Spotted something off? Use the Report button on any spot — thank you for helping keep the map accurate.
