Allemansrätten (right to roam) generally allows pitching for a night or two on uncultivated land, away from homes and out of sight of dwellings.
Informational only — always check current local rules and get landowner permission where needed.
This protection is a bit difficult to find. Behind Tjörnedalagården there is a water-toilet and outside there is a water tap.
From there you have to go into the cow garden through a gate.
To get to the protection, you must follow the fence on the left side along the trees.
Don't go down the hill!
You will then find a stepladder that will lead you back over the fence again for protection.
The protection is in very good condition and seems to have been built recently.
It is very spacious.
The shelter is located on a hill above the sea, but it is surrounded by a fence and trees - so you can't see the sea directly from there.

A major milestone: we've rebuilt Camp Wild from the ground up.
The whole site is now faster, lighter on mobile data, and works smoothly even on a weak signal out in the wild.
- The map loads thousands of spots without slowing down.
- Pages open instantly and use far less data.
- Every spot now has its own link, so sharing a place is easy.
- Map markers no longer duplicate or get stuck while panning and zooming.
- Coordinates read from a photo are now accurate, with a clear message when a photo has no location data.
- Sign-in, comments, and reports are more reliable.
We're continuing to polish the new experience. Spotted something off? Use the Report button on any spot — thank you for helping keep the map accurate.
