No general right; usually needs the landowner's permission, though often tolerated in remote uplands.
Informational only — always check current local rules and get landowner permission where needed.
This beautiful shelter is located in the national park. It can accommodate up to four people and is dry. Dry. Firewood is available in some cases. The hut has a cupboard with matches and small utensils.

A major milestone: we've rebuilt Camp Wild from the ground up.
The whole site is now faster, lighter on mobile data, and works smoothly even on a weak signal out in the wild.
- The map loads thousands of spots without slowing down.
- Pages open instantly and use far less data.
- Every spot now has its own link, so sharing a place is easy.
- Map markers no longer duplicate or get stuck while panning and zooming.
- Coordinates read from a photo are now accurate, with a clear message when a photo has no location data.
- Sign-in, comments, and reports are more reliable.
We're continuing to polish the new experience. Spotted something off? Use the Report button on any spot — thank you for helping keep the map accurate.
