Generally restricted, particularly in protected and coastal areas; varies by region.
Informational only — always check current local rules and get landowner permission where needed.
One of few remaining original alpine shelters. A 2 hour steep hike will bring you to 1985m altitude. Here, you will find an amazing original Bivacco with zero amenities. All you can expect to be provided is 9 cramped beds. Make sure you bring your own sleeping bag for hygiene. The views are astonishing, especially at sunset and sunrise.
Car can be parked without problems on the side of a service road: 46.343867, 12.098833
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU LEAVE THE BIVACCO BETTER THAN YOU FOUND IT. Many shelters like this have been removed due to vandalism. this one is a true gem if you don't mind trading some comfort for beautiful views.

A major milestone: we've rebuilt Camp Wild from the ground up.
The whole site is now faster, lighter on mobile data, and works smoothly even on a weak signal out in the wild.
- The map loads thousands of spots without slowing down.
- Pages open instantly and use far less data.
- Every spot now has its own link, so sharing a place is easy.
- Map markers no longer duplicate or get stuck while panning and zooming.
- Coordinates read from a photo are now accurate, with a clear message when a photo has no location data.
- Sign-in, comments, and reports are more reliable.
We're continuing to polish the new experience. Spotted something off? Use the Report button on any spot — thank you for helping keep the map accurate.
